Polyester rigid casting compounds are easy to use and fast-setting. They require a catalyst called MEK Peroxide that is particularly noxious, and should be used with proper precautions. Over-catalyzing can cause a higher exotherm, so take care. 1 gallon & 5 gallon units come with the appropriate amount of catalyst, oz. catalyst to 1 gallon resin, 5oz. catalyst to 5 gallons resin.
